Brekkukot Luxury Farmhouse is located on the ring road nr.1 in Skagafjordur, Northwest Iceland, 10 kilometres from Varmahlid.

By car

If you are travelling by car from Reykjavik you take route 1 and follow the road signs for "Akureyri". After 294 km you reach Varmahlid and from there continue driving ca 7 km until you see  the sign for Brekkukot to your left. You turn left at the sign and drive ca 2.5 km uphill toward the mountain and there you will see the house, Brekkukot Luxury farmhouse up on the hill, then you are on the right spot! The drive from Reykjavik takes about 4 hours.
If you are travelling by car from Akureyri then you drive route 1 over Oxnadalsheidi, it takes about 1 hour to drive from Akureyri airport to Brekkukot ca. 85 km until you see the sign for Brekkukot on your right. You turn right at the sign and drive ca 2.5 km uphill toward the mountain and there you will see the house, Brekkukot Luxury farmhouse  up on the hill, then you are on the right spot!
 

By air

If you take a plane from Reykjavik City airport by  www.ernir.is to Akureyri airport or Sauðarkrokur airport, which is the local airport. You can rent a car from www.holdur.is for instance.
